Provides information on funding opportunities available through the NN/LM SCR office and nationally through NLM. Any relevant grants from other government agencies and foundations are posted on the site as well. The page also includes useful tools to assist you in proposal writing.

Contains information on available funding opportunities in all institutes at NIH. The site also has links to forms required for grants from all NIH institutes including NLM.

Grants.gov:

Provides a simple, unified electronic storefront for interactions between grant applicants and the Federal agencies that manage grant funds. There are 26 Federal grant-making agencies and over 900 individual grant programs that award over $350 billion in grants each year.

GrantsNet:

Resource on grant opportunities available from the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). GrantsNet also contains general information about applying for a variety of government funding.

First Gov for Nonprofits:

This Federal Government site contains information on grants, loans, laws, licensing and outreach for nonprofit organizations. The site also has links to the Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance and State and Local Funding Directories.

The Foundation Center :

Provides a comprehensive starting point for practical current information on grants. A particular strength is the large up-to-date database on foundations and corporate giving. The site also has a wealth of resources on proposal writing.

EPA Grant Writing Tutorial:

Online tutorial developed through the EPA that contains basic tips on proposals as well as a mock grant writing activity. Although this site was designed for environmental funding proposal writers, there is a lot of information relevant for all types of proposals.
