The Serial Holdings section of DOCLINE contains information about the serials owned by each DOCLNE library. DOCLINE uses Serial Holdings information to route requests for journal article copies.

If you cancel and withdraw a serial, it is important to delete your library's holdings from DOCLINE Serial Holdings. If you do not, the system will route requests to you for items you do not own.

To delete your library's holdings from DOCLINE Serial Holdings:

  1. Select the Serial Holdings tab.
  2. Click on the Add/Update button.
  3. Use Bibliographic Search to find the serial's bibliographic record by ID number or title, or
  4. Click the LOCATORplus tab and use its additional search capabilities to find the serial's bibliographic record.
  5. Click on the Search button.
  6. Your library's holdings record will display.
  7. Click the "Delete" button, and then click "OK."

The changes you have made will take effect immediately.
