Health Information Literacy Research Project

The SE/A Regional Medical Library presented Jean Shipman, Director of the Spencer S. Eccles Health Sciences Library, University of Utah, and she reviewed the Medical Library Association’s Health Information Literacy Research Project that was funded by the National Library of Medicine. She shared how this two-year project has helped to educate health care providers about the key role medical librarians can play with improving their institution’s health literacy efforts in addition to how results of the project have been disseminated.
