Promotional Materials Distribution Policy

The National Network of Libraries of Medicine, Southeastern/Atlantic Region (NN/LM SE/A) makes available a number of FREE materials promoting NN/LM and National Library of Medicine (NLM) products to SE/A members and subcontractors. Included in these materials are bookmarks, pens, posters, and capability cards.

However, costs of certain items require that SE/A members with their request submit justification indicating how the material will be used. The SE/A executive director will review this rationale before the items are shipped.

Following are specifications for members who wish to request promotional items:

• Full and Affiliate SE/A members
  may request 50 each of MedlinePlus.gov bookmarks and other material without submitting a rationale. For requests over 100 and up to 500 each of bookmarks, pens, and capability cards, a statement indicating proposed use is required.
  
• Non-Members
  may request up to 50 each of bookmarks, pens, and capability cards without submitting a rationale.  Request for materials, more than 100 each of bookmarks, pens, and capability cards require a statement of proposed use.
  
• Subcontractors
  may order any quantity of capability cards from the NN/LM SE/A and are allowed to use subcontract funds to purchase all other items such as pens, bookmarks, and mugs from the NLM Gift Shop at http://nlm.promoshop.com/featuredproduct/index.aspx?DPSV_Id=566122
