The NN/LM SE/A is offering to Mississippi libraries, hospitals and clinics two funding opportunities to improve technology or access to Internet-based health information including NLM products and services such as PubMed, MedlinePlus, and more.
The Katrina Relief Award is available to libraries, clinics and hospitals adversely affected by Hurricane Katrina to aid in the recovery of information services or information access. Previous awardees may apply for additional funding.
The Delta Information Access Project Award is available to libraries, clinics and hospitals in the Mississippi Delta region to improve health information access or to Network members to start information access projects in the Delta.

Community Impact, Inc.
The Consumer Health and Education Resource Centers project will use funding to equip two centers for consumers residing in- and near-public housing projects in Indianola and Yazoo City, Mississippi. The emphasis will be on enhancing access to information for adolescence's and youth, as, well as school librarians and allied health professionals. The consumer health center manager will recruit, train, and orientate interns and volunteers, provide for 8 training/workshops.
