Grants and Proposal Writing Class in McKinney, TX

The Grants and Proposal Writing class will be offered at the Collin County Community College Library (Central Park Campus), McKinney, TX on Friday, December 14, 2007 from 1:00pm – 5:00pm.

Designed for beginning grant proposal writers, this very basic class presents a general overview of the grant and funding processes as well as the level of detail required in a successful proposal. Each component of the grant writing process will be addressed, including:documenting the need; identifying the target population; writing measurable objectives; developing a work plan, an evaluation plan and dissemination plan.
Upon successful completion of this class, each participant will receive 4 hours of continuing education credit awarded by the Medical Library Association. This class is in the approved consumer health course list for the Level II Consumer Health Information Specialization Program (http://mlanet.org/education/chc/index.html).
