New Version of TOXLINE
A new version of the National Library of Medicine’s (NLM) TOXLINE was recently released. Search results from the two parts of TOXLINE (TOXLINE Core and TOXLINE and TOXLINE Special) are now merged. This will allow all results to be relevancy ranked in the same way, with results displayed in only one window.
TOXLINE, part of NLM’s Toxicology Data Network (TOXNET), is a bibliographic database for toxicology literature. TOXLINE records provide bibliographic information covering the biochemical, pharmacological, physiological, and toxicological effects of drugs and other chemicals. It contains over 3 million bibliographic citations, most with abstracts and/or indexing terms and CAS Registry Numbers. TOXLINE covers much of the standard journal literature in toxicology; it is complemented with references from an assortment of specialized journals and other sources. TOXNET offers features such as relevancy ranking and flexible sorting and downloading options.
Citations from PubMed will directly link back to PubMed for convenience in using their related records.
