We continue to see many personnel changes at libraries within the region and this year that includes the RML as well. Heidi Sandstrom will be departing UCLA at the end of June but is leaving the NN/LM PSR program in the very capable hands of Julie Kwan. Effective March 1, Julie assumed responsibilities as Acting Associate Director of the NN/LM Pacific Southwest Region. (more…)

Here are some questions that came up during the Midday at the Oasis session on PubMed Changes Revisited. This session built upon the December session that was called, The “New” PubMed: Doing Fine with the Redesign! The February session highlighted the changes that took place early February. We have completed the review process for our requests for Major Outreach Subcontract Award and Express Outreach Award proposals. We received thirteen Major Outreach Award proposals and six Express Outreach Award proposals, making the bidding process quite competitive. NN/LM PSR staff did preliminary reviews of the Major Outreach Award proposals, to ensure that all mandatory criteria were met. (more…)
