TOXMAP update includes new data

The National Library of Medicine’s TOXMAP system now includes updated EPA Superfund National Priority List (NPL) data and updated NCI mortality data. In addition, TOXMAP now provides links to AirNow for air quality data, to the National Center for Environmental Assessment’s Health & Environmental Research Online (HERO) for risk assessments, and additional classroom exercises.

TOXMAP is a Geographic Information System (GIS) from the Division of Specialized Information Services of the US National Library of Medicine (NLM), that uses maps of the United States to help users visually explore data from the US Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Toxics Release Inventory and Superfund Program.
