PSRML is pleased to announce a change to our phone system which will better serve those who are contacting us through the toll-free number.
The general number is the same, (800) 338-7657, but the routing has been modified. When you have dialed in and pressed 1 to reach our office here at UCLA, the message first tells you who you have contacted. In addition, you then have a choice. You are prompted to press 1 "if you are a Network Librarian and need information about Network Membership or providing library services, including DOCLINE and SERHOLD" or you can simply wait to speak to someone in the office. By pressing the number one you are automatically transferred to PSRML's Network Assistant, Andrea Lynch. If you are inquiring about other services or information or you are calling from a rotary telephone, just staying on the line will automatically transfer you to someone who can assist you.
