PSRML is pleased to announce that Andrea Elizabeth Lynch has joined us as the new Library Assistant for our Network Program. Andrea recently relocated to Southern California from Berkeley, where she was a library assistant at UC Berkeley's Bancroft Library. There, she worked on various archival projects, maintained a serials collection, worked in public services, and with interlibrary loan and document delivery services. Andrea graduated from UC Berkeley in 1997, with a B.A. degree in sociology. Her hobbies are reading (surprise!) and tutoring.
While PSRML has had library school students in the Network Assistant position in the past, starting with this contract year it has been turned into a full-time Library Assistant position. Andrea will be handling problems, inquiries, and requests for information about Network Membership, DOCLINE, SERHOLD, DOCUSER, Loansome Doc participation, and other Regional resource sharing activities.
