Reflections on the Past

This year, the Medical Library Association celebrates its centennial with the theme: Visions of the Future; Reflections on the Past. One method of reflecting on the past is by reading some of the association's oral histories produced by MLA's Oral History Committee. Transcripts of these interviews, made over the last few years with some of the leading personalities in librarianship, have been made available to all Regional Medical Libraries and the National Library of Medicine. The UCLA Biomedical L ibrary, RML for this region, has a copy of most of the histories. All forty-five titles are available from NLM.

Below is a list of the titles owned by the UCLA Biomedical Library, including call numbers. Any library wishing to borrow copies of the histories may request them through DOCLINE, OCLC or an ALA form. Interlibrary loan fee for any title is $10.00; loan period is one month. Loans are available to institutions only, not to individuals, unless they own a UCLA Library card.
