The only membership drive for this contract period is underway in our region. We are presently contacting all current and potential Network members in order to update the information we have in our Network database. The information we receive from li braries is used to send out items, such as our newsletter; to produce a regional directory; and to update DOCUSER, NLM's free online database which provides data on the nation's health sciences libraries. PSRML also uses network member information for re ferring library managers and health professionals to regional libraries that provide specific information services, such as Loansome Doc.
When you receive your membership printout, listing the current information in our database, we hope you will take a few minutes to review the data, make any changes or additions, and return it to us by the deadline specified. We will then be issuing membership certificates for the period 1996-2001.

We greatly appreciate the assistance of all our members in fulfilling our overall Network goals: to promote awareness of and access to biomedical information resources fo r health professionals; and to develop, improve and support the sharing of those resources within our region.
