QuickDOC Logins for FTS2000

Here are Jay Daly's suggestions for all QuickDOC logins, using the FTS2000 number:

**For Shareware ProComm2.4.2**
SIGNON:
TRANSMIT "^M"
WAITFOR "gin:" 5
IF NOT WAITFOR
GOTO SIGNON
ENDIF
TRANSMIT "nopass^M"
; change from "nlmmed^M"
; WAITFOR "word:" <_ no more password prompt
NLM:
; TRANSMIT "medlars^M" <_ so no password
WAITFOR "TER LOGIN" 10
IF NOT WAITFOR]
.., etc.

**For PCPlus**
SIGNON:
TRANSMIT "^M"
WAITFOR "gin:" 5
IF NOT WAITFOR
GOTO SIGNON
ENDIF
TRANSMIT "nopass^M"
; change from "nlmmed^M"
; WAITFOR "word:" <_ no more password prompt
NLM:
; TRANSMIT "medlars^M" <_ so no password
WAITFOR "TER LOGIN" 10
IF NOT WAITFOR
..., etc., as before

After you've made these changes in your FTS2000 files (in the \quickdoc directory, .asp for PCPlus, .cmd for Shareware ProComm 2.4.2), start up QuickDOC and press for Configuration.

Choose FTS2000 as your Primary Telecomm, and then accept the values all the way through to the QD Main Menu. You will then have the new FTS2000 "nopass" option as your Primary Telecomm access (QD won't rewrite your changes, except for phone numbers and COM ports, etc.), but do make sure you press all the way through to the Main Menu. These choices will be added as Configuration Options in the future if this becomes the common method of access.
