Kimberly Franklin, a first-year graduate student in UCLA'S library science program, joined the PSRML staff in September 1995 as its new Outreach Assistant. As such, she will be involved in a variety of projects designed to educate and expose her to the dynamics of the RML'S efforts to sponsor information exchange through the use of technology and other tools.
Kimberly is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University with a B.A. in urban studies, and a 1995 winner of the California Library Association Minority Scholarship in Memory of Edna Yelland, and also the California Black Librarians Caucus-Greater Los Ange les Scholarship. Upon completion of her studies, she hopes to become a reference librarian in an academic or public library. We are pleased to welcome her to our staff.
