Hospital Library Information Technology Forum: Please Contribute! The MLA Hospital Libraries Section Information Technology Forum needs YOUR help. The MLA Hospital Libraries Section Information Technology Forum is a bulletin board sponsored by MLA. The purpose of the bulletin board is to discuss issues and disseminate news specifically related to technology and its use in hospital libraries. The Technology Forum is a way for librarians to share their IT experiences and to help each other solve IT issues. The National Network of Libraries of Medicine has partnered with MLA in this endeavor since the NN/LM Hospital Internet Access Task Force and the Hospital IT Committee are working together to disseminate data the Task Force collected about IT barriers facing hospital librarians. We encourage you to sign up for this forum in order to contribute to this effort. Registration is easy (and free of charge):
During the first six months, discussion will focus on the six broad categories of IT barriers identified by the Task Force: September - 1.0 IT Policy Issues Both Committees appreciate your efforts to make the Bulletin Board a useful tool for all medical librarians.
