DOCLINE® NotesDOCUSER® and SERHOLD® Updating Please remember to update your DOCUSER profile in the DOCLINE system. DOCLINE users rely on the information in your institution's profile as a way to contact you and to answer their questions regarding your library's services. An updated DOCUSER record is key to the efficiency of the DOCLINE system. SERHOLD information also needs to be up-to-date, in order for DOCLINE requests to route appropriately. If the holdings information for your library is current, please be sure to change the Last Date Reviewed field in your library's DOCUSER record. In DOCLINE, click on DOCUSER then on Update; click on the Interlibrary loan tab and select SERHOLD from the Select ILL Information Category drop-down menu. On the screen you will see the Last Reviewed on field. Please put in the date you reviewed your library's SERHOLD holdings as a two digit month, two digit day, and four digit year and click on the Save button. Of course, if your library's holdings are not current, proceed to the SERHOLD module of DOCLINE and enter the updates! Codes in DOCLINE Status Codes - This list can be viewed within the DOCLINE system by clicking on "Action" in the screen heading bar after you have done a "borrow" search in Status/Cancel. Click on the Status Code itself to display the request history. Reason Codes - From the request history display, the list below can be viewed within the DOCLINE system by clicking on "Reason". Please note: Codes followed by an asterisk (*) stop a request from further routing and the request is retired unfilled. DOCLINE Participation
Future DOCLINE Enhancements Over the coming year, the DOCLINE Team plans to review the entire DOCLINE interface. The Team will also investigate the feasibility of a Network billing function. Enhancements currently under development include:TTA Holiday Schedule DOCLINE Time Triggered Actions (TTAs) will not run on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas. TTAs will run on Columbus Day, Veteran's Day, Martin Luther King's Birthday, and President's Day, since many libraries are open on these days.
