- Coordinates programs and activities related to community outreach
- Promotes NLM grants and reviews proposals; promotes NN/LM PSR outreach subcontracts and coordinates proposal review
- Manages programs and subcontracts with network members to improve access to health information
- Identifies underserved areas and develops outreach plans including materials, training, demonstrations, follow-up, and evaluation in a targeted geographic area
- Presents papers, teaches classes, meetings, and workshops, and conducts regional training on PubMed, MedlinePlus, and other NLM and NN/LM products and services
