How to get access to books and journal articles
- Use the collection and interlibrary loan services of your health library (see Find a library that can help you with health information.)
- PubMed users will find the Loansome Doc ordering function to be a quick way of requesting journal articles.
- On the World Wide Web you can find some full text:
- Free electronic journals are listed at Hardin MD and FreeMedicalJournals.com.
- Use your favorite Web search engine (such as, for example, Google).
- University of Washington Health Sciences Libraries and Information Center (Some material is only available to University of Washington faculty, staff, and students.
- If you do not have access to a health library, call our office (1-800-338-7657) or send us a message for referral to an appropriate library.
