Planning to apply for an Express Outreach Award? Please see the revised RFP!

Friday, July 22nd, 2011

In late June, we announced our newest funding opportunities, including an Express Outreach RFP. Today’s update: The RFP and application form for Express Outreach awards have an important revision!

Here’s information about what’s different in the revised Express Outreach RFP, and our request to please use the revised application form when submitting your proposal.

What’s new in the revised Express Outreach RFP?
Express Outreach projects funded in 2011 must now be completed by September 30, 2012 (not February, 2013).

How is this different from the RFP announced in June?
Projects you propose for this round will now have 12 months (not 18 months) of funded support.

Is the funding level still $15,000 for this award?
Yes, we can still fund four successful Express Outreach proposals for up to $15,000 each.

What do I need to do?
The Express Outreach RFP has been revised with the new timeline requirement. Please plan your projects accordingly, and use the revised application form to cost out your budget for a performance period from: Oct 1, 2011 to Sept. 30, 2012.

Has the deadline changed?
No, the deadline for applications is the same as before: August 26, 2011.

Thanks so much for your patience, and do let us know if you have any questions.
We hope to see great ideas proposed for outreach in your communities!

Associate Director
