Edit: A recording, including links to two handout PDFs, is now available at https://webmeeting.nih.gov/p58454371/
Please join us on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at 1pm Pacific time (12 Alaska, 2pm Mountain) as Susan Barnes, Assistant Director of the Outreach Evaluation Resource Center (OERC) presents Increasing Survey Response Rate for our free monthly webcast at http://webmeeting.nih.gov/rendezvous If you are unable to join us then, we invite you to view a recording of the webcast at the Rendezvous website later.
What does “response rate” mean, and why is it important? What is an “adequate” response rate? In this session, we will discuss these questions. Experts tell us that it’s important to treat questionnaires as social interactions—evidence shows that the Golden Rule even applies to successful survey research! We’ll go over practical steps you can
take to increase the number of people who complete and return the questionnaires that you send to them. We’ll also talk about some strategies for addressing low response rates.
As part of our Federal agency services regarding electronic and information technology resources being accessible to people with disabilities, closed captioning is available on this and future RML Rendezvous webcasts.
