Follow MedlinePlus on Twitter
The good people behind MedlinePlus, the National Library of Medicine’s popular resource for authoritative consumer health information, are now using Twitter. Follow them at http://twitter.com/medlineplus4you to get updates about new and interesting content on MedlinePlus and other health-related sites. Welcome to Twitter, @medlineplus4you !
MedlinePlus joins about thirty other agencies and programs in the Department of Health & Human Services that are officially tweeting. Here is a list of those accounts.
For an introduction to Twitter, see Look Who’s Tweeting, a PNR Technology Tuesday post from earlier this year, and for good advice about how to represent your organization on Twitter, read Twitter Best Practices from usa.gov.

Setting up a Twitter account is a good way to see who else is tweeting, which is fascinating. We have set up Twitter account for ScanGrants:
http://twitter.com/scangrants
and here is my own account:
http://twitter.com/hleman
and I learned about this very useful post by following Pat Devine on Twitter

On that page, she gave Dragonfly as her Web site. Twitter leads to blogs, which lead to edifying reading. Go, Twitter! Go RML!
