Opening Doors: Contemporary African American Academic Surgeons
|The traveling exhibit Opening Doors: Contemporary African American Academic Surgeons and a corresponding exhibit “Firsts in the History of African American Physicians and Surgeons” will be on display at the University of Washington Health Sciences Library from August 1 to September 26, 2008. Opening Doors was developed and produced by the National Library of Medicine and the Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History and Culture.
If you are in the Seattle area, we hope you will visit and join us in honoring the many contributions of African American physicians to the field of medicine.
