Members Start New Outreach Projects

This spring the NN/LM PNR solicited applications for express outreach
projects. Eleven new projects have been funded and are ready to begin.
Although these awards are shorter in duration (eight months)
than previous project awards, your colleagues proposed ambitious, valuable
projects that will assess needs and bring creative solutions to
communities with health information barriers. Abstracts of these projects
will be added to the cumulative list of NN/LM PNR awards at
http://nnlm.gov/pnr/funding/oldproj.html. Congratulations to the

Public Health-Seattle & King County, “Addressing Health Disparities with
Health Education,” Seattle, WA

Puget Sound Alliance for Community Technology, “Quick Link Web Based
Health Resources for King County Housing Authority Residents,” Seattle, WA
