National Training Center and Clearinghouse (NTCC)
The National Training Center and Clearinghouse (NTCC) in the National Network of Libraries of Medicine (NN/LM) supports a variety of training opportunities for NN/LM members and for health professionals. The NTCC sponsors classroom sessions across the country each year as well as Web-based training on the National Library of Medicine's (NLM) information resources. The training benefits librarians; professionals in the industries of health, pharmaceuticals, and law; and the general public interested in biomedicine by providing focused classroom based database and databank training.
Work books are provided only at classes held in Bethesda, MD. For all other classes, it is the responsibility of each registered class participant to provide his/her own workbook. If you would like to have a printed workbook, please print and bring it to class. Alternatively, you may access the electronic version on your computer during class. Participants may download and print out the workbooks from the NLM publications page on the NIH website. We recommend that you print the PDF version of the workbook. If you do not have the Adobe Acrobat Reader, it is freely available for download at the Adobe website.
The PubMed® and NLM Gateway/ClinicalTrials.gov workbooks are available in two formats: Microsoft Word and PDF (Adobe Acrobat).
The TOXNET® and Beyond workbook is available in one format: PDF (Adobe Acrobat).
