INside OUTreach

You are invited! There will be a full-day PubMed class offered at the Robinson Library at Hartford Hospital on May 16, 2003 from 8:30 - 4:. The class will be taught by myself and Ellen Geraghty, an online analyst with the National Training Center and Clearinghouse (NTCC). Class will run from 8:30 - 4:30. If you would like to host a PubMed class - or a class on consumer health issues, or Toxnet, or any of the other NLM databases - please feel free to contact me. I am constantly on the lookout for new audiences!

News from the NLM Technical Bulletin that you want to be aware of:

• Cancerlit has been retired. See http://www.nlm.nih.gov/pubs/techbull/ma03/ma03_nci.html
• Use the NLM Gateway? Some changes have been made to that database and the interface now recognizes phrases. What does this mean? This means you no longer have to surround multi-word search terms with
