| Where in the world are those NER people? |

We're at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston!
We just finished exhibiting at the Yankee Dental Congress. Over 27,000 dentists, dental assistants, hygienists, office people, and dental students of all types attended this conference at the Hynes. It's the largest gathering of dental-related folks in New England. The NER was there in the exhibit hall, demonstrating PubMed and MedlinePlus. This conference was not for the dentally squeamish. I don't think I've ever been around so many dental tools in my life. However, our booth was located next to a vendor that sold toys, not surgical instruments. A particular favorite of attendees was the stuffed purple dragon puppet complete with teeth and an over-sized toothbrush used to teach children how to brush properly.
As I write this, Penny and Michelle are, once again, at the Hynes, exhibiting at the American Physical Therapy Association Combined Sections Meeting. Other NER staff will be taking their turns in the exhibit booth during the three days of that meeting.
On February 23 and 24, we will be back at the Hynes, exhibiting at the Emergency Nurses Association annual meeting.
The American Academy of Neurology Annual Meeting in April is the last national meeting we will be exhibiting at during this first year of our second contract. And where is that meeting going to be? Why, at the Hynes, of course!
Between now and May 1st, there are a lot of other exhibiting opportunities for the NER at regional activities in smaller venues. And then another contract year begins, bringing with it more exhibits at more national & regional meetings.
