Twitter in Hospitals

IM? That is SO 2004!” Are you stuck in the past? Stay ahead of the curve with Twitter! Twitter is a free social networking tool, allowing you to stay connected with people in “real time”. Unlike IM, Twitter allows you to post quick notes and read other users’ updates without the intrusive feel of an IM.

In this workshop, we will learn more about Twitter and how hospitals are using it to disseminate information.

If so, you’ve done some cloud computing.
Cloud Computing is basically the use of web-based services, whether it is an email client such as Hotmail, or document storage such as Google Docs or Me.com, instead of relying solely on your computer or server to store your software and files. (more…)
