About
The Symposium is an annual networking and professional development event for librarians in Wyoming and other states in the region. Our focus this year is on emergency preparedness with special emphasis on partnering librarians with representatives of community-based orgnizations to achieve four outcomes:
- Community-based organizations in Wyoming and the MidContinental Region form partnerships with health information professionals to increase access to health information.
- Participants will be more proactive in preparing for disasters.
- More community-based organizations in the region recognize the NN/LM MCR and network members as a network of providers of health information.
- Increased collaborations and access to biomedical information for health professionals and the public. National Network staff and area experts will also present topics of interest to librarians during the event
