EDUCATION: April – Breezing and Spotlight! sessions…

  • Breezing Along with the RML – Wednesday, April 16 – 10:00 MT/11:00 CT – Digital Repositories
    Join us for a panel discussion on digital repositories!  No matter where your library is at in the process, if its just thinking about having one, getting started and laying the ground work, or you’ve got an established repository but don’t know what to do with it – we’ve got panelist to ask.  Our panelist are: Health Brown, University of Nebraska Medical Center, McGoogan Library of Medicine, Brenda Fay, Aurora Health Care, Aurora Sinai Medical Center, Bob Engeszer, Washington University, Becker Medical Library, Richard Jizba, Creighton University, Health Sciences Library.Some of our panelists are in the midst of creating and developing a digital repository, and others have an established repository and are working on collections or projects. You’ll get a chance to see an overview of each panelists digital repositories and then we’ll let the audience pick their brains. So if you have any questions about any aspect of digital repositories come to our discussion and get answers!
  • Spotlight! on NLM Resources – Specialized Information Services (SIS) –  Wednesday, April 23, 1:00 MT/2:00 CT.   SIS produces information resources covering a range of resources on toxicology, environmental health, HIV/AIDS, outreach to under-served and special populations,  drugs and household products, and disaster/emergency preparedness and response.
