The World Wide Web is 25 years old!
The World Wide Web turns 25 on March 12, 2014. To mark the anniversary of the Web, the Pew Research Center conducted a new national survey to document the use and impact of the internet. Pew Research began studying the internet in 1995 and statistics show American internet use grew from 14% in 1995 to 87% in 2014. Their latest survey not only examined use, but included questions on the impact of the internet on personal life and relationships and concluded that the internet has been a plus for society and an especially good thing for individual users.
