Join Barb Jones, Library Advocacy Coordinator, and Claire Hamasu, Associate Director, in a lively discussion on “What Does it Mean to Be a Professional?” Does it mean you work in an office? OR Does it mean you have to dress up for work? OR Does it mean you have a higher degree? OR Does it mean you’re a salaried rather than an hourly employee? OR Do you have to be certified? Bring your ideas about what you think it means to be a professional and how we, as health sciences librarians, measure up. What implications does this have for us and if changes need to be made, what can we do about it?
