Webinar: Libraries & Health Insurance
The eHealth project at WebJunction.org will host a webinar on Friday, July 26 from 10-11 MT and 11-12 CT, to provide library staff with resources to respond to increased patron information needs related to the Affordable Care Act (ACA). “Libraries & Health Insurance: Preparing for October 1″ will present information covered during a session at the recent American Library Association annual conference in June, as well as newly available details. Barbara Stripling, ALA President, issued a statement recognizing the role of libraries in assisting the public: “The American Library Association anticipates that many Americans will turn to libraries for help in accessing enrollment information when open enrollment for the Health Insurance Marketplace component of the Affordable Care Act begins on October 1, 2013.”
