Registration is now open for EBM (EBP) and the Medical Librarian
The UNC-Chapel Hill School of Information and Library Science is offering “Evidence Based Medicine and the Medical Librarian,” a distance education course, from August 25 to October 18, 2013. The course is approved for 20 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) from the Medical Library Association. Up to 15 MLA students and 5 Library Science students will be accepted for this session. Instructors are Connie Schardt, MLS, AHIP (formerly from Duke University) and Angela Myatt, MLS (University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio). The instructional format is a combination of course material, independent readings, reviews and exercises, which are reviewed by the instructors to provide individual feedback to students. In addition, students are required to participate in the course Discussion Board. Students will use the UNC SAKAI system to access all course materials.
