Professional Development Awards – deadline extended for two events
1. Disaster Communication Summit – March 7-8, 2013
This one and a half day Summit will be broken into three segments. Professional Development Award applicants must apply for all three segments for registration. All will be held on the campus of the University of Illinois at Chicago, but in two different locations. Registrants will be notified about location and details closer to the Summit. To apply for a Professional Development Award:
- Applicant must be a health sciences librarian from a full member institution of the NN/LM MidContinental Region.
- Deadline extended to Feb. 14. Notification to applicants will take place by Feb 19, 2013.
- Professional Development Awards for the Disaster Communication Summit will cover travel, hotel and per diem meals not to exceed $1500 per recipient.

2. E-Science: The Research Lifecycle: Partnering for Success – March 15, 2013
