Sandbox Session: Infogr.am December 17, 2012 at 11 AM (MT) / 12 PM (CT)

Hello Network members,

It is time to come and play in the sandbox and check out a new toy…

On Monday, December 17, 2012, at 11am (MT) / 12pm (CT), the NN/LM MCR will be having a Technology Sandbox Session* where we will be “playing” with Infogr.am, a free infographic creator that is “super easy” to use.

Once you register, you can access many examples of how you can take your uninteresting data and make it POP!

You can learn more about Infogr.am

So you can play with your own infographic, please register prior to the Sandbox Session (or it is really fast and easy to register you can do it while you are at the Sandbox session).

Please come play in our sandbox!

Date: Monday, December 17, 2012

Time: 11:00 am (Mountain Time) / 12:00pm (Central Time)

Come to: https://webmeeting.nih.gov/mcr_edtech

***Dial-in instructions will be posted in the webinar room.***

You do NOT need to register for the session. You do NOT need to pay anything. You NEED to COME and PLAY.

Toy (Tool): Infogr.am

The presenter will demo some of the basic Infogr.am features with time for participants to try it out on their own.

*The concept of MCR sandbox sessions are basically just that…it is a chance for you to schedule time to play and learn something new to you.
Plus you will have someone that can answer your questions.

For these sessions, we will bring a toy, in this case online app or cool tool, and quickly show you how it works (where the switches are). Then you get to play with it.

The only objectives for the Sandbox sessions are to you get to 1) have a special time to learn something new and 2) project how this technology could be integrated into your professional life.

If you have any questions, please get in touch with me!
