1. Dana Abbey – In the summer of 2012, Colorado wildfires dominated news coverage until a gunman entered a movie theater on July 20th killing 12 and injuring 58. While a stunned community searched for answers to the tragedy, staff at the Central Aurora Public Library grappled with how to reach out to residents with their library located across the street from the Century 16 Theater. Join Dana Abbey as she talks with Crystal Niedzwiadek, Youth Services Supervisor, about her role as the library’s youth librarian and her desire to find ways to connect to teen library customers and aid in their healing process.
