For anyone who missed the session “Tornadoes and Earthquakes and Floods, OH MY! Librarians and Disasters” the recording is now available. https://webmeeting.nih.gov/p97311121/ The panel of librarians did a great job covering the roles that librarians can assume in supporting disaster response, suggesting steps to move beyond awareness to action in disaster preparedness, and describing resources available from NN/LM, NLM, and other agencies. Members of the audience enhanced the session by contributing their own experiences. Presenters included Claire Hamasu, Siobhan Champ-Blackwell, John Bramble, Rhonda Altonen, Margaret Bandy, Sarah Kirby, and Gayle Willard.
