Metasearch Services
Metasearch Services search several engines at once, and do so quickly. The search is shallow, however: it will only give you about 10% of the results of each of the engines they visit. This is a good tool to use to compare search engines like Google and Altavista. Remember that search engines seem to give different results because of the "ranking" system they use. Metasearch engines will show you the results from several search engines on one page.
