Search Directories

Yahoo allows companies to pay for advertising. The web sites that pay advertising fees show up at the top of the search screen or in the right hand column, and are labeled "Sponsor Results". Open Directory is mostly run by volunteers who are experts in their area. There is no paid advertising section in the results pages of Open Directory.
