Using a search engine to find health information on the Internet can be overwhelming. How do you know which web sites include information you can trust? Here is a quick set of questions you can ask to help you decide:
- WHO created the website
- WHY did they create it?
- HOW is the content on the web site reviewed before it is added?
- How OFTEN is information added or updated?
- Is there a lot of information that seems TOO GOOD to be true? It probably is!
- How SAFE do you feel using this website?
