Immigrant and Refugee Publication and Funding

Integrating Immigrant Families in Emergency Response, Relief and Rebuilding Efforts is a new publication by Annie E. Casey Foundation that helps service providers incorporate new refugee and immigrant populations into local emergency response efforts. The report mainly focuses on how to address language barriers in emergency preparedness for Limited English Proficient (LEP) communities. The report also includes lists of sources for LEP preparedness, which service providers will find helpful. Download the PDF file at http://www.gcir.org/publications/gcirpubs/emergency
