Instructions for the Set-Up and Dismantling of the MAR Tabletop Exhibit
Allow 30 minutes each for set-up and dismantling.
Setting Up the Exhibit
- Open the black bag and remove the exhibit framework.
- Frame expands by gently pulling; be sure that the hubs are placed toward the floor.
- Snap the connecting hubs in the frames together to stabilize frame.
- Remove magnetic channels (long dark rods) from case. The channels clip to the frame at hubs. The channel top has a slot for the light fixtures.
- Place light cord behind exhibit and plug into outlet/extension cord.
- The fabric and mural panels attach with magnets to the channel frames. The narrow panels wrap around the end and hook to connectors at top & bottom.
Dismantling the Exhibit
- Unplug the exhibit lights and allow them to cool before you remove them from the frame.
- Remove panels and place protective plastic over mural. Roll up all remaining panels and place in case- leaving room for the framework.
- Pack light fixtures in box.
- Unclip channels and disconnect the hubs, collapse the frame and insert frame in center. Place the channels in the bag with the framework.
