Access Services Librarian position available!

NYMC, located in Valhalla, New York in suburban Westchester County was founded in 1860 and is one of the nation’s oldest private medical and health sciences educational institutions.  Since 2011, the College has been a member of the Touro College and University System. With an enrollment of more than 1,400 students and 800 residents and fellows, NYMC is committed to educating individuals for careers in medicine, public health, the biomedical sciences and the health professions.

Currently, we  seek a Librarian, Access Services in Health Sciences Library.  This is a wonderful opportunity for a Renaissance librarian, jack of all traits to provide basic supervision, services, interlibrary loans, and assessment.  Customer, Reference, and Technical competencies are re quired. Bachelors degree with one year library exp. Specific library experiences includes:  Interlibrary loan, reference, Microsoft Office.  Also experience with Docline, OCLC and ILLIAD preferred.
