Demystifying Molecular Biology Presentation
METRO & NY/NJ-MLA Present: Demystifying Molecular Biology
Monday, September 30, 2013 – 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Spend your time as a medical librarian fascinated and no longer confused. Get to know your way around DNA, RNA, and ask every “-omic question” you were ever afraid to ask. You’ll have a BLAST, and you won’t even want to BLINK as a librarian colleague who also holds a PhD in Molecular Biology shares her knowledge and shows you how to unravel any helix with ease. With concepts made clear, take an Evidence-Based approach led by a librarian colleague expert searcher to interpret stories, compose the searchable question, and use the NCBI resources to find the answer.
