MedlinePlus Adds Patient Handouts and Anatomy Videos
MedlinePlus recently announced two new features: Anatomy Videos and Patient Handouts. The videos are available in English and Spanish. Some of the handouts are also available in Spanish. Please note that not every health topic includes patient handouts yet.

May 13, 2010 Patient Handouts on MedlinePlus
| MedlinePlus topic pages now feature a section of patient handouts. Patient handouts are short, printable tips or how-tos on dealing with a disease or condition.Visit your favorite health topic page, and look for the Patient Handouts link in the table of contents. For example, the Asthma page links to patient handouts on asthma triggers, signs of an asthma attack, and variety of asthma treatments. |
