Technology Services from the GMR
Technology classes: We offer a variety of technology classes, both in-person and online. Archived recordings of GMR Tech Talks can be found on our GMR Tech Talks page. Topics have included Free Online Tools, Productivity Tools, Microsoft Access and Database Theory, and Tutorial Creation. A complete list of classes we offer can be found on the GMR Classes page.
Consultation: The GMR offers consultation and assistance to our members. Some examples of what we can help with:
- Explaning emerging technologies and how they may fit in with your library
- Web 2.0 technologies, such as wikis, blogs, and social networking
- Videoconferencing and computer-based voice over IP services, such as Skype and Google Hangouts
- Podcasting, screencasting, videocasting, or video broadcasting
