New Resources at the Alzheimer’s Association Green-Field Library

The Alzheimer’s Association Green-Field Library has added to and updated our Resource Lists. You can direct your patrons to materials for completing their coursework, article publication, presentations, grant writing, or to learn more about the disease. Check out the Jumpstarters for immediate, free, full-text articles in 13 areas of Alzheimer’s study for students, faculty, and library patrons. Note the updated Resource Lists, Popular Searches and Incredibly Useful Websites, plus our Favorite Links (http://www.alz.org/library/links.asp). View the new Pinterest tool at Social Media Tools: 11 boards you can follow, pin, and share – compiled by the Green-Field Library. Through the online catalog, your patrons can search the collection, view videos for free, and access a list of our journals. Through their local chapters and you, they can borrow from us. We thank all the librarians who chat so deftly and access our policies in QuestionPoint. You can link to us on your website or social media pages: http://www.alz.org/library/.

The Alzheimer’s Association houses a collection of 5,000 books and videos at the national headquarters in Chicago as well as maintains a web page called the Virtual Library, a project funded in part through a technology award from the National Network of Libraries of Medicine (NN/LM) Greater Midwest Region (GMR) in 2009.
