Health-E Illinois Go Local is Launched

Health-E Illinois Go Local (http://medlineplus.gov/illinois) officially launched on September 7th, 2007! Health-E Illinois Go Local is a statewide directory of health services developed by the Loyola University Health Sciences Library. It serves the largest population area of the current Go Local sites.

The success of this project is due to the hard work of Tom Bartenfelder, Janet Behnke, Eileen Cooney, Eugene Giudice, Mary Klatt, Samantha Meyer, Anthony Molaro, Dianne Olson, Katie Posniak, Regina Zarilla, and the night staff of Loyola University Health Sciences Library. Project partners include the Alliance Library System, Council of Illinois Medical School Libraries, Health Sciences Libraries of Illinois, Illinois Alliance of Information and Referral Systems, Inc., Illinois Department of Public Health, and the Illinois Rural Health Association.

New Full Text and PubMed Brochure

We’ve added a new brochure to the PubMed® pantheon! Like PubMed Basics, PubMed My NCBI and Searching PubMed with MeSH, Full Text and PubMed is a trifold brochure in pdf format which you are welcome to copy and print. Additionally, by downloading the brochure and opening it in Adobe Reader® , you will find you can add and save your own local library information in the box provided. A bug in the software behind The Cornflower is currently causing RSS 2.0 feeds to render as invalid links. A fix is expected to be released shortly. In the mean time go directly to the blog website to view a particular post instead of relying on the hypertext feed link.
