Farewell to Tammy Mays

Tammy Mays will be leaving her position as the Consumer Health Coordinator, GMR, on August 16, 2007. She is excited and honored to be accepted in the University of Wisconsin at Madison’s School of Library and Information Studies PhD program and a recipient of the ALA Spectrum Doctoral Fellowship.

Aurora Libraries Update on Patient Information Rounds

An update on the Aurora Libraries’ recent article in the Journal of Hospital Librarianship about Patient Information Rounds.

As we have continued the project we have discovered that patients are very appreciative of the offer of information. Even if they have no questions at the particular time we visit they repeatedly tell us “what a nice service!” (more…)
